Social work

Our social workers are here to walk alongside you and your whānau through life’s challenges. We provide practical, non-judgmental support tailored to your needs. We can provide information on local services and guide you through processes with government and other organisations. Whether you're facing family changes, looking for parenting support, or needing help with problem-solving and coping strategies, we’re here to help you with information and support. Self-referrals are welcome – reach out when you're ready.

Our services are FREE to whānau who care for children 18 years and under.

How can we help

  • provide information about local resources and services for yourself or your children

  • support your family / whānau through change and family issues

  • assist you in accessing services – where to go and what to ask for

  • helping navigate processes of other organisations and services including government agencies

  • problem solving skills and coping strategies

  • improving your own wellbeing and supporting you in your parenting role
